The Sermon on the Mount

It's time for the Brentwood Derby, and everyone wants to win! But when Stretch Stanley oversleeps on race day, two friends face a big choice. Will they put Stanley first, even if it costs them the race?

Chloe's toys have arrived, Benny's room has become a magnificent racetrack, and Corny the moose is holding the cars back at the starting gate with his enormous antlers. So when the practice runs turn into a squabble, Sassafras grabs the megaphone and opens his Bible to the Sermon on the Mount.

It's a giggle-filled read-aloud for ages 3 to 8, and the real Bible story runs straight through it: Jesus teaching on the mountainside, letting your light shine, and the golden rule. Every page is built like a paper diorama, with chunky paper toys and little details for small readers to spot.
